6 weeks ago today...

I held my baby boy in my arms for the first time. I have no idea where the time has gone.Although I have barely slept in 6 weeks (the kid won't sleep more than 2 hours in a row if I am lucky), I have never been so happy and in love in my life!

My lovies

These were taken yesterday afternoon. We had a bit of a cool front here in South Florida.
So we bundled up a bit and went outside to play.
Aren't they cute?

brrrrrrrrr

we're freezing!!!
Last night it was in the high 50's and we were freezing. I know I know high 50's is not cold but it is when you are use to it being it in the 80's!!
Here's Nathaniel all bundled up. He'll probably only get to wear this outfit once because apparently it's suppose to be in the high 80's by Friday (isn't that nuts?).

excuse the poor quality of the picture, it was dark and I was too lazy to go get my flash!

Sleepy head

there's nothing cuter than a sleeping baby.
Here's Nate, don't you think h's getting chunky?? I LOVE IT!!!

Morning gymnastics

Every Tuesday morning a local gym has "Open Gym" for the kids. It's 1 hour and 30 minutes long and it's a great way for me to sit back and relax (well not really because Seb always wants to me to come and see what he is doing) and for Sebastian to burn out some of that crazy energy of his.
Nathaniel just falls asleep in the sling.

The pictures are not the best because of the fact that Nate was in the sling and it was a bit akward to take pictures with him hanging from me!

Brotherly love

I never in a million years would have thought I would love my kids as much as I do today. Of course I knew I'd love them but not like this!!
I cannot get enough of them (although there are times-more often than not- when I need a break from them).
Sebastian hasn't had much jealousy issues since the birth of Nathaniel although he acts up more than usual at times.
He actually really loves his baby brother. He kisses him 50 times a day (no joke) and wants to hold him constantly. My heart melts when I see them together although
I know Nate has no clue of what is going on right now. I can only hope that the love they have for eachother grows stronger and stronger each day and that they become best friends by choice and not because they are brothers and have to be.

Seb playing doctor with Nate.(poor Nate-lol)

Loving his brother...

Reading to his brother....

Look at how Nathaniel stares at Sebastian. Isn't it the cutest thing ever???

I know...

this is my 3rd post of the day! I probably jinxed myself with the post below... it's yucky outside today so of course we're stuck at home because when it rains here, it POURS!!!!
I hear alot that SAHM"s don't have time to shower... I honestly couldn't live without a nice warm shower every morning so I MAKE time for it I admit it's been harder with two kids but I manage. I stick Nate in the bouncer in the bathroom and leave the door open for Sebastian. Most of the time Seb ends up in the shower playing with his toys (we have a big walk in shower) so it works out well... today I guess Sebastian had other plans, this is how I found him when I got out :

PS: I SWEAR I had nothing to do with this, he did this all on his own!

A typical day at our house!

We're lucky we live in South Florida. We're rarely cooped up at home and most of our activities are outdoor ones.

Lately we've been spending alot of time in our backyard. The sun hits the front of the house inn the afternoon so it's nice and shady. Sebastian gets to play with Belle and all his outdoor toys and Nathaniel really loves to be outside. he usually falls asleep within minutes. Of course I don't mind because a sleeping baby+tons of natural light = great pictures :)

Sebastian hasn't been fan of my camera lately if you haven't noticed but today I managed to get a few good ones of him.
Nate, as usual is asleep. You'll notice his loveable chubby cheeks and his balding head... I guess neither of my kids are meant to have hair! lol

Just one of my little monkey

because even with a silly face, I think he is so darn cute!!
He's two and I still cannot believe he is mine. I love him to pieces!!!

It' s been a month already!

After having Sebastian the most common thing I heard was "Enjoy it, it goes by fast!"...well the truth is, it goes by FASTER then you think and believe it or not, it goes by even faster the second time around when your also busy chasing a crazy toddler around.
My baby boy is a month old already!! If you don't have kids, you might think I am being over dramatic but just wait and see...
This past month has been crazy to say the least. I have never felt more frustration, exhaustion... more love in my life.
There are days I wonder "what the heck was I thinking???" but those days don't compare to the amazing moments I spend staring at my boys wondering how the heck did Eric and I ever manage to live without them in our lives.
While I've always been madly in love with my husband, having these kids has made me love him more than I ever thought possible. I still cannot believe that our love created these two amazing little creatures.
I wish I were a better writer so I could write down exactly how I feel... unfortunately I haven't mastered the english language well enough to do so.

Nathaniel's one month stats:
weight:11lbs4oz (he left the hospital at 7lbs4oz)
height: 21 3/4 inches (20 inches at birth)

IN COMPARISON...
Sebastian's stats at the same age:
weight:10lbs14oz (8 lbs at birth)
height: 22 1/2 inches (20 3/4 inches at birth)

Here is one picture of my booger taken today, I'll post more tomorrow when I have more energy!

I almost forgot!!

On our way back from Miami we decided to stop in Fort Lauderdale at Jaxon's. Jaxon's is an old fashioned ice cream parlor with the yummiest, biggest, most fattening ice cream ever!!
Sebastian did not look at me once, he kept his eyes on his treasure : ICE CREAM!!!

Family Fun!

The Miami Seaquarium was having a deal: buy a one day admission pass in February and receive a free annual pass so we packed up the car and drove down to Miami with the kids.
The weather was beautiful (maybe even too hot)and we all had a great time. Sebastian was mezmerized by all the animals, especially the dolphins.
He wouldn't let me take pictures of him though and kept telling me " mommy picture gator" "mommy picture dolphin" LOL
